Thank you Lord for you are our Mighty Healer! I am teary-eyed as I hold my laboratory report (results are normal). Last month was a very challenging season for me especially on my health (I was physically weak for a month). Little did I know that work-related stress has taken a toll on my health. It was also aggravated by a sedentary lifestyle. I was hesitant to go through a comprehensive check-up (I hate syringe and I start to palpitate whenever i see "big" tablets and capsules). Taking 14 pieces of vitamins, supplements and medicines for a day was an extra challenge and a leap of faith for me. But through it all, the Lord has been great and awesome. It was also last month that I got back to part-time teaching. It's a joy to teach conscientious foreign students.I realized all the more that this life is a wonderful gift, it is precious. And as I celebrate my 23rd spiritual birthday on September 12, this is my declaration: I am a person redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, a soldier in the Lord's army, I will continue to fight a good fight of faith, I will serve Him and love Him until my breath runs dry.
