CHRISTmas and Birthday 2021 and New Year 2022

December is our birth month and God never fails to surprise us in more ways than one. Sim continually shows his support on my kitchen experiments and he gifted me with a gas range. One of our foster sons, Jess, also came to celebrate my birthday and the new year with us.

As scheduled, we spent Christmas with the Langbayans (Sison) and the New Year with the Macaraegs (San Carlos City). There's no place like home and family. God has been so gracious to our family despite the challenges and the pandemic. There is always victory in Jesus Christ!

We declared as a family that 2022 will be another year of the Lord's favor. To God be the glory!

Franciscans '95 Reunion

Out of 50 students, only four came to our Reunion but it's okay, the number did not hinder us from having a great time "fellowshipping"with one another and the laughter is still youthful and vibrant. Thank you Rowe, Gaydz and Belle for coming. I look forward to seeing you sisters more frequently when I'm in San Carlos.

Praise God for His sustaining grace!

The Upper Room as a Planning Venue

Praise God that our Upper Room has been chosen as the venue for Baguio Christian Center  Officers' Planning for 2022. It may be  along and tiring meeting but we know in our hearts that the Lord has guided our plans for the advancement of His works in this Ministry.

Sim was also chosen as the Church Administrator.

To God be the glory!

Christmas Celebration of 76 Central Balacbac Homeowners' Association

What a joy to celebrate Christmas with our neighbors! And yes, this is one of the early projects of our newly-formed homeowners association. And it's an honor and privilege that Sim was voted as the President. May the Lord use our life to minister to our neighbors.

It was a fun event, with Councilor Mylene Yaranon gracing the occasion. We all had  a great time celebrating and getting to know our neighbors on top of the usual "hi, hello" greetings.

Christmas is really a joyous event and truly, Jesus Christ is the center of this celebration.

The "Giant Takore" at Tublay, Benguet

The unplanned trip to Tublay, Benguet after a usual Sunday church service was completely out of our routine but we still pushed through with the trip. And, I don't have regrets because it's truly a memorable joy ride with my husband. We just enjoyed a milk tea along the road and had our lunch at Marosan's, Cruz, La Trinidad. We missed the "Marosan's Rice".

And yes, it's great to see the "Giant Takore" up close.

Unwinding at Mirador Eco-Park

Baguio City never runs out of a tourist attraction to showcase. After our application for a National ID at the JVOFI office, we looked for some place to explore and this place came to  mind.

If not for the entrance fee, I would say it is a complete date with nature (haha!). I am excited to bring my friends and family here especially  when it's time to gaze at a beautiful sunset sky.

Remembering Lola F

Lola F's life may not be that ideal to some but I have always thanked God for her life - 93 years is indeed a milestone! What amazes me more is that she has barely taken any maintenance medicines or vitamins during her lifetime - the kind of genes that I and my immediate family are praying for, along with: long, healthy, and prosperous life.

We have not gathered as a family (Simeon side) for the longest time due to the complexity of family relationships. But as the adage goes, "blood is thicker than water". Praise the Lord for allowing us to celebrate Lola F's life as one big, happy family during her "40 days". I am one of those who facilitated the event and Sim was the one who shared God's Word and gathered the siblings (including our Mom) and prayed for them and declared the Lord's blessings.

To God be the glory!
