FAMILY

People wonder about the depth of our ties
Well, it’s where our success and legacy lies
It all began when our father taught us values
Loving each other adds to life’s lovely hues

Sticking to the family is a challenging thing
Especially when one develops his own wing
 But daily circumstances continually reveal
That it’s always best to remain and be still

Each family member has its unique identity
We have to learn to love them unselfishly
Time flies by so swiftly and old age is a reality
Destiny will always lead us to our own family

So the message of this poem is very simple
Show love and care while time is still ample
Always remember that regret is simply vain
It’s a fact that time lost can never be regained

Mama Adel’s Surprise Diamond Birthday Celebration

Mama’s birthday celebration was like a touching movie. It was a concoction of comedy and drama. Things were orchestrated wonderfully by no less than the children and the siblings and directed by the eldest daughter. The memories especially when Mama got down from the car with an aura full of queries about what’s going on around her will be forever etched in our hearts. We made sure that everyone important to her was there. The fun and excitement on Mama’s special day was just a small way of letting her know how much we love and adore her. Unlike a movie that ends too soon, we are praying earnestly that God will give her an abundant life and that we will all enjoy her company until our white hairs show up…

What Success Means To Me

Many people measure success in quantity.
But, I must say we should also consider quality.
What is success if you are feeling unhappy?
And all things around you seemed baloney?

Real success is something that enlivens you.
It’s an achievement that creates fire in you,
To do things that you’re passionate about,
And not pretend to be someone you’re not.

To me, success is to spend a lifetime with you.
Create memories and make dreams come true.
To serve the Lord together as husband and wife,
Together we’ll combat the challenges and strife.

Success is felt when I wake up and look at you.
When I sleep and just hold your hand gently.
You’re the greatest blessing I received from God.
By just staring at you, I can spell success out loud!
